Hannah's highlights so far

I am having a wonderful time, I have visited Hospice of Southern Illinois, The Southern Illinois University Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club. We have had some wonderful tours as you will have seen, and experienced some interesting weather conditions. My hosts have been wonderful so a big thank you to Denise, Ken and Anna Clare Crews, Samir and Ghada Abdo, Martin and Angie Rowe and Casey Parker. Everyone has gone out of their way to make us feel welcome, and the hospitality is so good we may never leave! Most interesting food sightings so far include chow mein noodles covered in chocolate and bacon cheeseburger between two krispy Kreme donuts. I have eaten my first corn dog and discovered the joys of corn pudding. Today I lost badly at bowling but cheered myself up with a pecan nut ice cream which was the best I had had in a long time. Thank you to Rotary once again for giving me this wonderful opportunity, and I promise to bring back candy!
