Day 1

Had a lovely picnic with the Rotary Club of St Clair Valley, big thanks to Scott from Schnuks for the awesome food and Steve, Jodie and Darlene for providing transport. It was great to meet the Interact team and we're hoping to hear their music later on in the month. We had an inspiring talk from Pastor Daren Carstens and we'd like to thank him for his time. Ellen had an interesting experience in the park with the doorless toilet and we then had a tour of (possibly!) the oldest Catholic church in the US and the Cahokia courthouse.

This evening we've just returned from a fantastic meal at Bully's smokehouse in Columbia where we met the members of the Rotary Club of Columbia, big thanks to Tim & Mitch for providing transport. We're now back at the hotel ready to sample Charlotte's frozen custard before bed!! Early start in the morning!! Love to all our friends and families and we'll update soon.
